Mr. Eric B FranksonBorn in Chicago Illinois, Mr. Frankson was surrounded my music from his earliest memories. His Grandfather marched in John Sousa's marching band and his father and uncles performed professionally for years as a combo. Naturally drawn toward the music industry, Eric started selling pianos and organs for Grinnell's Piano Company while still in high school. Working his way through college selling for Lowrey Organ Company, Eric graduated in 1984 with degrees in English and Political Science from Indiana State University. After managing various outlets for Lowery, Eric joined Jordan Kitt's Music managing four different locations in Washington D.C, who at the time was the second largest piano retailer in the United States. Eric became a "self-taught" professional pianist in 1991 playing hotel lounges, country clubs, and cruise ships. It wasn't long until the "Piano Man" became the house pianist for the Washington Sheraton Wardman Park Hotel; Washington's largest convention hotel. His ability to make people from all walks of life feel comfortable singing and laughing around his piano led to his position as the house pianist at the newly re-opened Sheraton Kauai, in Kauai, Hawaii. From there he went on to Las Vegas playing a large variety of venues including the worlds finest casinos, to old world Italian restaurants to Smokey little cabarets. It was in Las Vegas that Eric reentered the retail piano and organ business selling for Music World Family Music Centers. After meeting with Bill and Donna, Eric loved the idea of moving to the desert and joining the Desert Piano and Organ family. Eric currently performs engagements at Vicki's of Santa Fe and welcomes you come say hello! |
