After a three year stint in the Military during the Korean war, he resumed his chosen career of piano retailing with the Baldwin Piano Company in Denver & Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was later appointed West coast regional manager for C.G Conn Ltd,; then the worlds largest manufacturer of musical instruments. Bob held various executive positions with the company for over a thirteen period, including director of international marketing.

In 1978, Bob joined Mission Bay investments, Inc located in San Diego, Ca, parent corporation of Organ exchange, Inc of which he was appointed executive vice president of operations. In 1998, Mr. Zadel Link US International, a company specializing in consulting services for retail keyboard merchants. He and his wife Carol retired to Palm Desert, Ca in 1999. In retirement, Bob enjoys part time piano sales for Desert Piano & Organ and has been long time friends with Bill & Donna.
